W przyszłym sezonie nie zobaczymy w barwach Górnika  jednego z twórców sukcesu minionego sezonu. Alterique Gilbert odchodzi z drużyny.

- Po roku wspólnej pracy nadszedł czas, aby podziękować Asteriksowi za wszystko, co wniósł do naszej drużyny.

Alterique dołączył do naszego zespołu przed sezonem 2024/2025 i od pierwszego meczu udowodnił, że jest prawdziwym liderem na parkiecie. Zakończył rozgrywki ze średnią 13.2 punktu na mecz i 4.4 asysty, wielokrotnie ciągnąc naszą ofensywę, podejmując odważne decyzje i rozgrywając kluczowe akcje w najważniejszych momentach spotkań.
 
Statystyki to jedno — ale najważniejsze było serce, które zostawił na parkiecie. Walka do ostatniej sekundy, ogromna ambicja i zaangażowanie.

After a year of working together, the time has come to thank Alterique for everything he brought to our team.
Alterique joined us before the 2024/2025 season, and from the very first game, he proved to be a true leader on the court. He finished the season averaging 13.2 points and 4.4 assists per game, often leading our offense, making bold decisions, and running key plays in the most important moments of the games.
Statistics are one thing — but what mattered most was the heart he left on the court. Fighting until the very last second, showing tremendous ambition and commitment.
